The Columbia Community Foundation was established in October of 2007 as an organization to serve the citizens of Columbia Station, Ohio, and our neighboring communities by awarding educational scholarships and community grants. To date the Foundation has raised $200,000.00 and reinvested $175,000.00 back into Columbia Township and surrounding communities.
Building upon many years of philanthropy to our neighbors and friends, we will be hosting our Fall Gala on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at the Columbia Ballroom. Thanks to your generosity and that of so many loyal donors that support the Fall Gala, we continue to increase the number of scholarships and the dollar amount offered to Columbia area students. Funds raised at the Fall Gala have also awarded grants to the Columbia Fire Department, to help feed the less fortunate in our community, educational and technology grants for students of Columbia Local Schools, local beautification projects, helped foster an outreach against domestic violence to name a few.
The Fall Gala has evolved into the social event of the year and is eagerly anticipated and supported by individual and corporate sponsors. In addition to the Live and Silent Auction, the evening is complete with entertainment and fine dining. We hope you will consider joining our mission by spending the evening with us and supporting this worthwhile event.
We are looking for event sponsors and hope that you will consider supporting the Columbia Community Foundation and the FallGala. Also, of great value would be live or silent auction items. In previous years, live auction items such as sports/event tickets and golf, hunting packages have garnered the most attention. Pick-up service is available for any in-kind donation by contacting the Foundation at 440-236-8000.
